Project overview
Digital Dialogue is a blog with practical freelancing advice for beginners on Upwork and Fiverr, covering profiles, proposals, platforms and fees. I own and operate the site, and its source code is public on GitHub.

Problem and objectives
New freelancers find plenty of generic advice but little practical, platform-specific guidance. The site needed to make articles easy to publish and easy to read, while performing well in search.
- Publish and update articles without code changes or redeployments.
- Offer a clean, readable experience on every device.
- Give every article strong search and social sharing metadata.

Owner, designer and developer
- Product direction, content structure and visual design.
- Next.js and TypeScript frontend.
- Contentful content model and rich-text rendering.

Technical approach
Articles are written and managed in Contentful and rendered by a Next.js and TypeScript frontend styled with Tailwind CSS. Each page sets search and social metadata, and articles include share actions.

Design and implementation decisions
A headless CMS for content
Contentful separates writing from code, so new articles can be published without involving a developer or redeploying the site.
TypeScript throughout
Typed content and components reduce mistakes when the content model changes and make the codebase easier to maintain.
Accessible UI primitives
Headless UI provides keyboard-accessible interactive components while Tailwind CSS keeps the visual design consistent.
Metadata on every page
next-seo manages titles, descriptions and Open Graph data, so articles appear correctly in search results and when shared.
